We collect information you provide directly: name, phone number, email address, business details, and payment information. We automatically collect: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data. When you connect messaging platforms, we access your conversation metadata and message content to provide the service.
We use your information to: provide and improve the Platform, process transactions, send notifications, respond to inquiries, comply with legal obligations, and send marketing communications (with your consent).
Under the NDPA 2023, we process personal data based on the following lawful bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests where these do not override your data protection rights.
We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025. As a data controller, we have designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required by Section 32 of the NDPA. You have the following rights under the NDPA:
We share your data with: payment processors (Paystack, Flutterwave, M-Pesa, MTN MoMo), messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram), cloud infrastructure providers, and analytics services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Where data is transferred outside Nigeria, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place through Data Processing Agreements as required by the NDPA.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we retain data for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless retention is required by law.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, regular security audits, and staff training on data protection. We conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for high-risk processing activities as required by the NDPA.
To exercise any of your data protection rights, contact our DPO at dpo@pricifi.com. We will respond to your request within the timeframe prescribed by the NDPA. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.
